Free TI-84 Calculator Online

A modern TI-84 style graphing calculator with AI: graph functions, find zeros and intersections, run 1-Var Stats and regressions, and use normalcdf, invNorm and binompdf. Free, no download, works on your phone.

Angle: Answer:
Type an expression and press Enter, e.g. 2^10, sqrt(50), nCr(10,3), normalcdf(-1,1,0,1)

Works like the TI-84 home screen: log is base 10, ln is natural log, ans is the last answer. Also supports normalcdf, invNorm, binompdf, binomcdf, nCr, nPr.

InfonicAI's calculator is an independent tool. TI-84 is a trademark of Texas Instruments, which is not affiliated with and does not endorse this site.

Need a TI-84 calculator online for homework, a stats class or a quick check before an exam? This free graphing calculator gives you the TI-84 features students use most (graphing, the CALC menu, tables, 1-Var Stats, regressions and the DISTR functions) in a cleaner, modern layout that runs in any browser. There is nothing to download, no account to create, and it works on your phone, Chromebook, laptop or tablet.

It is not an emulator and does not need a TI-84 ROM file. It is a fast, independent calculator built to work the way TI-84 users already think, with an AI helper that explains problems step by step.

What You Can Do With This Online TI-84 Graphing Calculator

  • Calculate like the home screen: powers, roots, fractions (►Frac), logs, trig in radian or degree mode, factorials, nCr and nPr, plus ans for your last answer.
  • Graph up to four functions (Y1–Y4) with drag-to-move and pinch or scroll to zoom, plus ZStandard, ZTrig, ZDecimal and ZoomFit windows.
  • Use the CALC menu: find zeros (roots), minimums, maximums and the intersection of Y1 and Y2 with one tap.
  • See a table of values with your own TblStart and ΔTbl.
  • Run 1-Var Stats: mean, Σx, Σx², Sx, σx, n, min, Q1, median, Q3 and max, using the same quartile method as the TI-84.
  • Fit regressions: LinReg (ax+b), QuadReg and ExpReg with r and r², then graph the curve on top of your data.
  • Solve probability problems: normalcdf, normalpdf, invNorm, binompdf and binomcdf.
  • Ask the AI helper in plain English when you are stuck, and get a worked, step-by-step solution.

TI-84 Buttons and Where to Find Them Here

If you already know the TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus CE, this table shows where each common feature lives in this calculator.

How to Graph a Function and Find Its Zeros

  1. Open the Graph & Table tab.
  2. Type your function next to Y1, for example x^2-4 or 2sin(x). You do not need to type “y =”.
  3. Drag the graph or zoom until the part you need is visible, or tap ZoomFit.
  4. Choose the function in the Analyze menu and tap Zeros. Every root in the current window is listed and marked on the graph.

To find where two graphs meet, enter them as Y1 and Y2 and tap Intersect Y1/Y2.

How to Find Mean, Standard Deviation and Quartiles (1-Var Stats)

  1. Open Stats & Regression.
  2. Paste or type your data into L1, separated by commas, spaces or new lines.
  3. Tap 1-Var Stats. You get x̄, Sx (sample standard deviation), σx (population standard deviation), the five-number summary and more.

Use Sx when your data is a sample, which is the usual case in statistics classes, and σx when it is the whole population.

How to Use normalcdf and invNorm Online

For a normal distribution, choose normalcdf in the Probability tab and enter the lower bound, upper bound, mean (μ) and standard deviation (σ). For “less than” problems use -1E99 as the lower bound, and for “greater than” problems use 1E99 as the upper bound, exactly as on a TI-84. To go the other way, from an area to a value, use invNorm with the area to the left.

For a fixed number of trials with the same probability of success, use binompdf for “exactly x successes” and binomcdf for “at most x successes”.

A Modern TI-84 Alternative With AI

A physical TI-84 Plus CE is still required for many exams, but most homework, practice and checking happens on a phone or laptop. This free online calculator covers the everyday TI-84 tasks without the menus-within-menus: every feature is one tab away, results are easy to copy, and the AI helper can explain why an answer is right instead of only showing a number.

For longer written problems, you can also use our free AI math solver, which shows a full step-by-step solution for algebra, calculus and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this TI-84 calculator online free?

Yes. The calculator is completely free to use in your browser, with no download, no sign-up and no limits on calculations or graphs.

Is this a TI-84 emulator?

No. It is an independent online graphing calculator that works like a TI-84 and uses the same function names, such as normalcdf, invNorm and 1-Var Stats. It does not run Texas Instruments software and does not need a ROM file.

Does it work like the TI-84 Plus CE?

It covers the features most students use on the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus CE: graphing, zeros, minimums, maximums, intersections, tables, 1-Var Stats, regressions and normal and binomial distributions. Advanced features such as programming, matrices and apps are not included yet.

Can I use it on my phone or Chromebook?

Yes. The calculator runs in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Chromebook, Windows and Mac. On phones, you can drag the graph to move it and pinch to zoom.

Are the results the same as on a real TI-84?

The statistics and probability functions use the same definitions as the TI-84, including its quartile method, so results such as normalcdf(-1,1,0,1) = 0.6826894921 match. Graph features search the visible window, so zoom out if a zero or intersection is not found.

Can I use this online calculator on a test?

Only if your teacher or exam rules allow online calculators. Most standardized exams require an approved handheld calculator, so check the rules before your test.

What does the AI helper do?

You describe a math problem in plain English, for example “find the standard deviation of 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42”, and the AI returns a worked solution with each step explained. Use the calculator tabs to double-check important results.
