How this tool works

Sources and limitations

Understand your result

The UAE PINT AE validator performs a private preparatory check on invoice XML. It confirms that the file is well formed, uses an Invoice root and contains selected core elements from the published UAE material. It is designed to catch obvious issues early, not to replace complete Schematron, Accredited Service Provider or government validation.

What PINT AE means for UAE e-invoicing

PINT-AE applies the Peppol International Invoice model to UAE requirements. The Ministry of Finance guidance describes structured electronic invoices exchanged in XML through the UAE e-invoicing model. A PDF, scanned image, email or Word file is not the structured XML invoice checked here.

The programme and mandatory fields can evolve. The validator therefore names its supported pre-check version and links to the official Ministry of Finance portal. Always compare a production implementation with the latest official material and your Accredited Service Provider requirements.

How the UAE invoice XML pre-check works

Paste XML or choose a file up to the displayed limit. The browser parses it locally. The result reports malformed XML, the root element and the presence of selected fields such as invoice ID, issue date, type code, currency, supplier, customer and monetary total.

Each issue has a plain rule identifier and explanation. Export the report for development notes, then correct the source system and run the check again. Passing these checks only means the limited pre-check found no listed issue.

Privacy and limitations

Invoice content can contain commercially sensitive customer and tax data. This tool reads the XML inside the browser and does not upload it to InfonicAI. Avoid pasting production secrets into any third-party tool unless its privacy model is clear.

Complete PINT AE validation may involve official syntax bindings, code lists, cardinality, calculation and business rules beyond the selected fields. Certification and exchange occur through the applicable accredited ecosystem, not through this page.

Common XML problems

Frequent failures include a missing namespace-aware invoice root, malformed closing tags, omitted supplier or customer parties, absent currency and inconsistent monetary totals. Correct the generating system rather than manually patching one exported invoice when the issue affects every document.

Questions people ask

What is PINT AE?

It is the UAE localization of the Peppol International Invoice model used for structured electronic invoicing requirements.

Can I validate a PDF invoice?

No. The UAE guidance describes structured XML; PDF, image and Word files are not the XML format this tool checks.

Is the uploaded XML sent to InfonicAI?

No. File reading and parsing occur locally in the browser.

Does a pass certify my UAE e-invoice?

No. It only passes the limited preparatory checks listed by this independent tool.

Does it run complete Schematron validation?

No. The current release checks XML structure and selected mandatory elements, not the complete official rule set.

Where should I verify the latest UAE rules?

Use the linked UAE Ministry of Finance e-invoicing portal and your Accredited Service Provider documentation.
