How this tool works
Sources and limitations
Understand your result
This Nigeria admission predictor checks the national JAMB policy baseline and the qualifications entered, then can compare maintained institution and programme guidance imported with a source year. It does not invent a probability or guarantee admission; it identifies what should be verified next.
What the 2026 JAMB aggregate calculator checks
Enter the JAMB score, institution type, age, relevant O-level credits and whether the exact subject combination has been checked in IBASS. The result compares the score with the maintained national policy baseline and flags age, credit or subject-verification issues.
A complete JAMB aggregate calculation may also require a university’s Post-UTME score and its own weighting formula. Because formulas differ, this 2026 baseline does not apply one generic percentage to every university. Maintained programme rows can be imported only with institution, year and source details.
University aggregate and Post-UTME calculations
Queries such as “University of Lagos aggregate calculator” or “post UTME aggregate calculator” require the current formula for that institution. Never assume another university uses the same weighting. Use this baseline checker first, then consult the institution’s official admission notice for its aggregate formula.
Historical guidance can help a candidate build a shortlist, but it is not the current cutoff. Programme demand, capacity, catchment or other institutional rules can change the outcome.
Cut-off marks for medicine and nursing
Searches for a university cut off mark for medicine or JAMB score for nursing at a particular school often confuse the JAMB policy minimum with a competitive programme score. Meeting the national baseline means only that further consideration may be possible; it is not a medicine or nursing admission prediction.
Check the official institution notice, programme-specific subjects, O-level requirements and IBASS combination. Treat blogs and prior-year lists as historical context unless they link to a current notice.
How to interpret the result
“Baseline checks passed” means the entered facts did not fail the limited checks. It does not mean admitted. A review result tells you which item—score, age, credits or subject verification—needs attention. Follow the official JAMB and institution process for the final decision.
Questions people ask
What is the JAMB minimum university score for the selected year?
The tool reads the current versioned JAMB policy baseline in its source pack. Institutions and programmes can require more.
Is this a Post-UTME aggregate calculator?
It is a baseline eligibility checker. A Post-UTME aggregate requires the verified weighting formula for the chosen institution.
Does meeting the cutoff guarantee admission?
No. Institution autonomy, programme competition, subjects, O-level results and other criteria still apply.
Can it predict medicine or nursing admission?
It can flag the baseline, but it does not claim a guaranteed competitive cutoff for medicine, nursing or another programme.
Where do I check my subject combination?
Use the official JAMB IBASS eligibility checker linked in the sources.
Why does the tool ask for a source year?
University formulas and guidance can change, so maintained rows must identify the academic year and source.
